Why not get app-ed and attend one of the Diversity In Apprenticeships open days and register your details for an Apprenticeship. Courses range from Business Admin and Sports & Fitness, to Hair dressing and Customer Services, there are lots more. Apprenticeships are an excellent way of gaining qualifications and workplace experiences for young people. Young Apprentices earn while they learn, experience a wide range of opportunities and build relationships in the industry in which they wish to progress. So register now!

Would you like to participate in creative, stimulating and positive learning activities using Performing arts and Music?
Motivate to achieve is running a unique customised and participatory creative project, offering creative, stimulating and positive learning activities using performing arts and music! Available to young people aged 16 - 18 living in Hackney and Greenwich who are currently not in education, employment or training (NEET) or who are at risk of becoming NEET.
Signing up starts with
- initial assessments consisting of group and individual activities
- drawing up a customised plan based on individuals aspirations
- creative tasters
- (learners journey will differ due to individual needs)
- mentoring is offered from creative industry professional and pastoral care advisors
- attendance will be at least one day a week or two half days for a period of 12 weeks
- project leads to a final showcase talent event at the iconic Stratford Circus

newham information, advice and guidance
Information, advice and guidance (IAG) service for young people aged 13 - 19 in Newham. This service is available to all young people in schools, college and training providers, and supports progression into post 16 education, employment and training (EET) opportunities. Specialised services are also available to young people with special educational needs, up to the age of 25.
Advisers provide support services to young people at local Connexions Shops, Schools and Colleges and work closely with a range of partners and specialist services to provide a comprehensive IAG service to young people in education and the community, especially those who are seeking education, employment and training.
